It’s 10:14 pm and I AM HUNGRY! I want another 1/2 of wrap and more ice cream! My weight loss is slow already…I don’t need to slow it down even more by eating right before lying down. I’ll drink me some water….I’m probably thirsty. It trips me out that thirst and hunger feel the same….goodnight everyone!

RECAP: haven’t written my eats down in awhile (duh-right!). Thanksgiving went well. I did allow myself carbs: stuffing, biscuits, and eggnog. My b.g did well with everything except the eggnog
I know there’s low carb egg nog recipes…I hope they’re good bcs I’d like to give one of those recipes a try.

So many bloggers are freaking out over the coming holidays! I remember when I used to be one of them. Oh the turmoil!! HORRID.
I can’t imagine going back to that way of living: always worried about what to eat, always dreading your hunger – No Thank You. I still deal with some issues, but I’ve overcome quite a bit.
I have to say I’m not worried over this holiday season like I would be in the past that’s fer sure. I know I’ll miss my FAVORITE sugar cookies. I know I’ll miss TAMALES!!! But…there are substitutes. I believe one day the substitute’s will become the “norm”.
Is it hard to turn away McDonalds or Pizza Hut? For me, yes of course! It probably will be for some time to come. I’m in learning mode right now. I’m learning to undo bad mindsets. That’s where you win or lose the weight loss battle: in your mind, not with the food on your plate. That’s just the end result.

Shopping all day! Wow – the espresso w/heavy cream held my appetite at bay ALL day! I didn’t mean for it to happen that way, it just did. By the time we ate dinner my family was starving and I wasn’t. My daughter asked me, how can you not be starving…and you know what? I couldn’t answer her.
I just wasn’t.
Go Figure.
Update: stayed up waaaaaaay too late (3:30 am). Had a slice of l.carb (healthy life) toast (6g) and tea.

Not very nutritious today. My b.g after eating the 3 tacos (I should have only eaten 2-got too full off the three) was 98. I’m REAL pleased about that. I took a gamble w/the tacos. The last time I ate more than one, I suffered with a sugar spike (does not feel good).

I don’t normally eat TWO sandwiches in a day. I don’t usually eat ONE for that matter…2 slices of low carb bread is considered “special”. I ate TWO today simply because I was lazy. Plus, I took a nap and ate the plain bologna sandwich before heading out to the movies with my daughter.

Had one of those “weird” days when I don’t feel like eating much…like I said, WEIRD. I didn’t even “need” to eat the pound cake. I simply wanted it bcs it was pretty tasty and I wanted the hot tea with it! I probably should have just had the hot tea and saved the slice of pound cake until tomorrow. Oh, by the way, I took a slice of l.carb banana bread to work and didn’t even eat it! I wanted to eat it, but never got hungry for it!
Definitely a weird day!
